Dow High was swept by Davison in a doubleheader Monday Evening 2-4, 3-7.  The Chargers could not get the bats going in game one as they could only muster 2 runs in the first inning on 5 consecutive walks.  Dow would finish the game with only 2 hits.  Trent Johnson started for the Chargers and went 6 innings, giving up 3 runs on 5 hits.  Logan McCoy would throw the final inning as Davison would push an insurance run on 2 hits.  Dan Kowalczyk had a hit and an rbi for Dow while Bill VanSumeren added the other rbi with a bases loaded walk.

In game 2, the Chargers would come out swinging scoring one run in the first inning and adding two more in the second.  Dow's offense would stall at that point and get blanked the rest of the way falling 7-3 to Davison.  John Szajenko pitched 5 1/3 innings and doing his best to hold back Davison for 4 of those innings.  The Cardinals would end up getting 5 runs off of Szajenko with only 3 of those being earned runs.  Jack Bakus would come in relief giving up 2 more runs on 3 hits.  The Chargers were led by Nolan Sanders on the offensive side with 2 hits and knocking in 2 runs.  Trent Johnson had 2 doubles and Logan McCoy added a run scoring triple.
